CALL TO ORDER:

Rick Olson, club president, called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. There were 27 members in attendance. Rick led us in The Pledge and in a moment of silence for our troops overseas.

OPENING REMARKS:

As part of the LFGC continuing improvement effort, a road is being built over top of the 50 utility range that will access all the way to the 200 yd range. A secondary berm will be placed behind the road on the 50 utility range.

Donations:

• Ben Gottlieb: 22lr bolt action savage Mod 64, plus 100 rounds of 22 LR to be raffled.

REVIEW OF MEETING MINUTES:

Steve Cox read the Secretary’s report from December - It was accepted as read without alterations or corrections.

TREASURER'S REPORT:

Bob Boilard read the Treasurer's report from December– It was accepted as read without alterations or corrections.

OLD BUSINESS:

• Gate locks have been changed. 2022 keys have a number 2 stamped on them.
• Solar panels have been installed at the trap range to supplement the generator for charging batteries.
• A work party is scheduled for 9 AM, January 15 to make target frames. Members are reminded that, for safety reasons, only adults can handle power tools and other cutting tools.
• New member orientations will begin in January. The wait list has been purged and new candidates have been notified.
• It was noted that the number one rule infraction is the handling of firearms while people are down range.
• Plans for the new clubhouse have been signed by the town planning board. Still needed are the restoration bond and construction insurance. Trees shall be cleared in the Spring. It was decided not to bury power lines due to the cost.

NEW BUSINESS

• The by laws need to be amended to change the club 501C3 status to 501C7.
• The club discussed changing insurance carriers.
• Updates were given on the situation with the neighbors who allege bullet strikes on their property.
