CALL TO ORDER:

Rick Olson, board chairman, called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. There were 29 members in attendance. Rick led us in The Pledge and in a moment of silence for our troops overseas, and for first responders.

OPENING REMARKS:

The renewal process begins September 15. Reminder signs will be put up on the club property. A $100 late fee will be imposed from Dec. 1-31. It is there to inspire members to renew on-time. Any members who face a financial hardships should contact a club officer. There will be two opportunities to renew at the club house.

Donations:

• Alan Lutz donated 2 boxes 20 gauge turkey load shells.

REVIEW OF MEETING MINUTES:

Steve Cox read the Secretary’s report from August - It was accepted as read without alterations or corrections.

TREASURER'S REPORT:

Bob Boilard read the Treasurer's report from August – It was accepted as read without alterations or corrections. It was noted that donations to the Boy Scout Venture Crew were about $5000.

OLD BUSINESS:

• Beer cans were found on the 50 yd utility range. Violators, if caught, may lose their membership.
• Board member Dave Caikauskas spoke about buying a back hoe. The club paid about $20K in rentals fees last year. Club member, Mark Gashi, also spoke in favor of buying said equipment.
• A motion was made and passed to allocate a maximum of $50K for the purchase of equipment.
• Mowing and maintenance of the berms was discussed. Recommendations are welcome.

NEW BUSINESS

Renewals for 2022 begin September 15 and end November 30. The renewal amount is $165, seniors (65 and older) $65. The work credit has been raise to $50. A late penalty of $100 will be charged to those who renew during the month of December. A PayPal fee will be added to all PayPal transactions.

No renewals will be accepted after December. Wait-list names will be pulled to fill any vacancies after all regular renewals are completed.

Renewals can be submitted online, via US Mail (PO Box 229, Londonderry 03053), or in person at the club house during TBD designated times. No renewals will be accepted at regular monthly club meetings.

• Club house update: Electric load calculations are still need to be estimated and submitted to Eversource. Contractors will be needed for HVAC systems, septic and site work, etc.
• A commercial kitchen will be installed for about $40-$50K.
• Water storage will be a necessary part of the sprinkler system.
• Paving of a section of the entrance road was discussed.
• Watch for a work party opportunity in September or October.
